Dear Juliet, Romeo is into you
After completing Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare I though it was great that we finally got to see the two main characters Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time. While reading this I felt as though Romeo meeting Juliet was good timing for him because he can finally move on from the girl that broke his heart Rosaline. It was good to see Romeo happy after meeting Juliet, seeing as though he started Act 1 moping around, being a depressed teen and being hopelessly in love with someone who doesn’t love him back. But in all fairness we should thank Romeos cousin Benvolio for pushing him to go to the Capulet feast so Romeo could “ Compare her face with some that I shall show, And I will make thee think thy swan a crow” (1.2.93) as to show Romeo that there are other beautiful girls out there, maybe even more beautiful than Rosaline. Well Benvolio should keep playing Cupid because thanks to him Romeo did find someone else, he found someone who’s beauty was “...
